About MAME Arcade Systems

Since our inception in 2000, we have created open mame arcade cabinets that support popular video game emulators such as MAME.

MAME (an acronym of Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) is a free and open source emulator designed to recreate the hardware of arcade games in software on modern personal computers and other platforms. The intention is to preserve gaming history by preventing vintage games from being lost or forgotten. The aim of MAME is to be a reference to the inner workings of the emulated arcade machines; the ability to actually play the games is considered “a nice side effect”. Joystiq has listed MAME as an application that every gamer should have.

The first public MAME release (0.1) was on February 5, 1997, by Nicola Salmoria. The emulator now supports over seven thousand unique games, though not all of the supported games are playable. MAME is thought of as the most successful, widely used video game emulator.

MAME supports popular classic arcade games such as Pac-Man, Centipede, Missile Command, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga and many more. By the emulator definition each of the games IS a 100% reproduction of the original title as an exercise in preservation.

Because our hardware and technology supports *EVERY* emulator ever created (which runs on a PC, Android, Apple or LINUX/UNIX platform) – you will have virtually UNLIMITED gaming options on any of your DreamAuthentics products.

All emulators are available in the public domain for our customers to install and enjoy on our cabinets as they want to grow and expand their platform.
